Optometry

Optometry is a science specialized in the study of vision, specifically in primary eye health care.

It is a science that studies the refractive state of the human eye and allows the determination and evaluation of other physiological functions and attributes related to vision. It also includes the study and adaptation of compensating optical devices.

Our optometrists are licensed and specialized professionals, capable of examining and evaluating the sense of vision, identifying and compensating for visual changes of non-pathological origins and improving patients' visual performance through compensation with ophthalmic lenses and/or contact lenses.

All equipment used in an Optometry consultation is observational, non-invasive and aimed at a quantitative and qualitative assessment of vision.
