ORDER PROCESSING
Orders are dispatched upon stock confirmation. Delivery times vary depending on the destination country. 
After items are checked, we confirm our ability to fulfill the order. Typically, preparation takes between 24h and 48h business hours. 

Our offers are always subject to the availability and quality of existing stock.
In the event of a stockout, the order may be placed directly with our supplier. In this situation, the Customer will be duly informed of the resulting impacts on the delivery timeframe.

You can track the entire process, from dispatch to order receipt, ensuring a safe and flawless delivery.
In case of product stockout, Jorge Oculista does not guarantee that restocking will not involve a price update. The order will only be processed after explicit confirmation from the Customer.

Exchanges and Returns

GENERAL INFORMATION

The deadline for requesting an exchange and return is 14 days, from the date of receipt of the product at the delivery location.

The request for exchange or return of purchases made online must be communicated to our Customer Service via email online@grupojorgeoculista.pt.

Afterwards, you will be informed how to send the product to our Distribution Center.

Any exchange or return of products purchased in the online store can also be made in any of the 20 Jorge Oculista Group stores as long as you inform us in advance of your intention through our Customer Service.

In the case of an exchange, if the desired product is not available at the time of your request, we will cancel the order with a refund of payment.

Exchanges and returns are only allowed for products purchased from the jorgeoculista.pt online store. Therefore, exchanges for products purchased in physical stores are not allowed.

Shipping costs for item exchanges or returns are FREE to Portugal. However, for sales outside the country, shipping and return costs are the responsibility of the customer, so shipping costs will not be considered in the refund.

All expenses relating to customs fees or taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Jorge Oculista is not responsible for any customs expenses or other expenses not directly attributable that may arise in the event of exchanges or returns for customers residing in countries outside the EU.

IMPORTANT TIPS

- The customer must pay attention to the description and technical data sheet of the product;

- It is important to keep the invoice/receipt received at the time of delivery of purchased items and the purchase transactional emails as a guarantee;

- The original packaging of the purchased product, as well as the warranty and accessories that accompany it, must be kept in good condition. In case of exchange or return, these items will be evaluated;

- Whoever receives the purchase must always check the items in the order and the invoice/receipt upon delivery;

- There must be someone at the place where the order is delivered. If the buyer himself is not available, he must inform the person responsible how to proceed. Delivery may be made to third parties, such as doormen or relatives;

- After the positive verification, the signature in full of the person responsible for receiving it and the ID number on the note stub will be required;

- jorgeoculista.pt is responsible for the quality of the products throughout the journey, while transported to their destination;

- Once delivery has been registered, responsibility for the integrity of the product immediately falls to the person who received it.

 

REFUND FOR REPENTANCE

To make a return in case of regret or withdrawal, the customer has 14 days after receiving the product at the delivery location to do so by giving prior notice through our Customer Service. Customer.

The returned product must be in its original packaging and accessories, in perfect condition and presented together with the purchase invoice. We reserve the right to refuse returns and return the product to the customer if any of the items do not meet the stated standards.

If the product is in perfect condition, the amount will be fully refunded, upon receipt and analysis of the product at our Distribution Center.

DEFECTIVE PRODUCT

All our products have a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects, following the rules of the Consumer Protection Code, upon presentation of the purchase document, and the product being in the original packaging and without signs of misuse.

The returned product will undergo analysis and, if a manufacturing defect is found, a new product, the same or similar to the one purchased, will be sent to the customer. In this case, the shipping cost will be our responsibility.

We reserve the right to refuse the return and return the product to the customer if any of the items do not meet the stated standards. In this case, the shipping cost will be the responsibility of the customer.

Any and all assistance for products purchased at jorgeoculista.pt can be provided in any of the 20 Jorge Oculista Group stores.

EXCHANGE FOR SIZE OR COLOR OF THE SAME PRODUCT

To exchange a product for another color or size, please contact our Customer Service. Customer . The deadline for shipping the new product is up to 14 working days after receipt and analysis of the item in our logistics department, upon receipt of the original purchase document, if the product and packaging are in perfect condition.

EXCHANGE FOR ANOTHER PRODUCT

To exchange a product for another color or size, please contact our Customer Service. Customer, within a maximum period of 14 days after receiving the product.

If there is a difference in value between the product received and the new product, the return procedure will be opened, so after returning the product and approval of the analysis in our logistics department, the value of the difference will be refunded.

The previous product must be sent, upon presentation of the original document and be, as well as the respective packaging, in perfect condition. After analyzing the product in our Distribution Center, the refund procedure begins.

We reserve the right to refuse the return and return the product to the customer if any of the items do not meet the stated standards. In this case, shipping costs will be borne by the customer.
